To view a file you can select the View or Launch icons from the Action bar, or

expand the Files or Copies topic, right-click the file that you want to launch, and then select View or Launch.

Regardless of which method you choose to view a file, the View option will always honor the settings in the Viewer Settings dialog (Tools > Viewer Settings). Therefore the file will be either be viewed in an embedded web browser inside the Content pane, viewed in the Brava! Viewer inside the Content pane, or viewed in an external launched process.

Conversely, the Launch option does not honor the settings in the Viewer Settings dialog and always displays the file using an external launched process.
